Chinese Theory:
Recurrent urinary tract infections, crystals in the urine, obstructions of the urinary tract, and urinary stone formation are all considered bladder damp heat in Chinese Theory. Damp heat invades the bladder wall and changes the internal environment of the bladder. This includes PH changes, formation of crystals, and creates an environment favorable to bacterial invasion.
Herbsmith Bladder Care contains cooling and draining herbs that help to balance the bladder and maintain a proper urinary environment. Cranberry extract and d-mannose help to protect and support the bladder wall.

Cautions:
Not for use in pregnant animals. If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. Not for use within 48 hours of surgery/anesthesia. Use caution in animals with cardiac and kidney problems. Use caution with animals on concurrent steroid use. Not for use during diarrhea.
