	Chris Bessent, D.V.M. Oconomowoc, WI Chris Bessent, D.V.M., founder of Herbsmith, practices holistic veterinary medicine, utilizing Chinese herbs, acupuncture, food therapy and chiropractic on all animals. After more than a decade of using Chinese herbal combinations in her practice, Dr. Bessent channeled her wealth of knowledge and experience into Herbsmith, Inc.
	Megan Allikas Production Manager Sussex, WI Megan manages all production at Herbsmith headquarters. Contact Megan if you have any questions about your account, shipping or a specific blend. Megan is a member of Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society. She used to ride and show at the academy level for ASHA for six years until a back injury prevented her from showing competitively. She currently enjoys volunteering for a variety of philanthropic interests, doing outdoor activities with her dog, Divinity, and her husband, spending time with friends and family, traveling and riding. Megan's favorite pet was Petti (Red and White Ryukin Goldfish) who she had for most of her freshman year in college and who helped her study. He would swim to the top to get food when the tank light would be turned on and was slightly "plump" for his size. Her other favorite is her current dog, Divinity. Megan and Divinity both end up teaching each other new things every day. She is a bundle of love and energy. When they go on walks or runs, she pushes Megan to walk or run further then she really wants to go. Megan considers Divinity to be the cutest personal trainer she could ever ask for. Megan's favorite breeds of dog are the American Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Australian Sheppard.
	Megan Dischler International Sales Manager Oconomowoc, WI Megan manages all sales for Herbsmith. Megan lives Oconomowoc, WI with her two horses (Grizzy – a Lipizzan, and Valabri – a Dutch Warmblood) and two cats (Basil and Alyce). Animals have always been a very important part of her life. She has been riding and competing in Dressage with her horses for 12 years and has had cats, dogs, and other animals her whole life. When not spending time with her horses, Meg enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time outdoors, traveling, and wine. She has a background in Human Biology, Chemistry, Spanish, and recently earned her Certified Specialist of Wine degree.
	Kelly Marks Graphic Design / Web Administration Hartland, WI Kelly handles all graphic and web design for Herbsmith. Kelly enjoys thrift stores, the outdoors, camping, road trips, concerts or any combination thereof. Kelly's favorite pet was her family's cat, Jude, who followed her home from school one day (really!).
	Sue Shulkers Sales & Marketing Franklin, WI Sue lives in Franklin with her husband, Dennis and her three greyhounds. She is very involved with Greyhound Pets of America participating in fundraising and monthly "Meet and Greets" promoting greyhound adoption in the area. Sue has also been a wildlife volunteer for the past 10 years at the Wisconsin Humane Society doing rehabilitation on sick and injured wildlife in Milwaukee County. In addition, she is a sanctuary for the Wisconsin House Rabbit Society. She generously takes in rabbits that have been deemed unadoptable and gives them a permanent home. Sue also partners with an area emergency veterinarian, assisting her in CPR & First Aid Certification Classes for dogs.
	Vicky Stemper Customer Service Oconomowoc, WI Vicky handles customer service at Herbsmith Inc. Contact Vicky if you have any questions about Herbsmith products, policies or procedures. Vicky was born in Wolverhampton, England and moved to America in 2003. She currently resides in Oconomowoc with her husband, two children and their cats, Blackberry & S'mores. She loves travelling home and spending time with her family and friends on either side of the world! Vicky's favorite pet, past or present, was her cat, Snowy (Snowdrop), a pure white cat that loved to sit in the sunshine as much as he could.
	Melissa Stephany Marketing / Public Relations Ixonia, WI Melissa manages all marketing and public relations for Herbsmith. Contact Melissa if you have any questions about trade shows, advertising or promotional materials. Melissa loves shopping, painting, and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Ixonia, Wisconsin, with her husband, Michael. Melissa and Michael recently welcomed Marty the Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix) into their home, and life hasn't been the same since. Not surprisingly, her favorite breed of dog is the Morkie.
